Cornbread Brisket Waffle Sliders with Mac and Cheese

Since it’s National Brisket Day and I’ve been a resident of Texas for some while now, I figured it would only be fitting for me to come up with some concoction for this joyous holiday.

Growing up in Cleveland when we grilled out it was typically ribs, burgers, hotdogs. The usually backyard food. As I’ve gotten older I found out you can practically throw anything on the grill. So I’ll smoke this brisket for several hours and then kick up the heat and hit the brisket with some of my handmade BBQ sauce.
