Kick’N Honey Glazed Chicken
1. Prep the chicken by cleaning and removing the backbone with a pair of scissors. Transfer to a baking pan or Tupperware tub to season the chicken in.
2. Mix 6 tablespoons of melted butter, and 3 tablespoons of seasoning in measuring cup and set aside.
3. Rub chicken generously with seasoning on both sides. Throw in a cap full of apple cider vinegar for a more tender bird.
4. Take the flavor injector and hit the chicken on both sides underneath each breast, the wing and the thigh.
5. Transfer to baking pan and cover with foil. Refrigerate and let marinate for a few hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
6. Preheat oven to 400 degrees, remove foil and let bake for 45-50mins. Half way thru what I like to do is slowly baste or add more of the flavor injector marinate. Adds a little more flavor.
7. Once done and golden brown, remove and let set. Add a mixture of honey, butter and a little bit of the seasoning mix to make your honey glaze. Apply that to the chicken one it gets out the oven. Let set for 5-10mins before carving. Enjoy!
